The scoops are made from completely natural wood with a smooth surface finish. They are treated with a raw lacquer finish which is a natural, sap-based coating derived from the lacquer tree. It is food-safe, and highly durable, non-toxic, and Eco-friendly finish.

Care Instructions: Hand wash the scoop using mild soap and water. Avoid soaking, and promptly dry with a clean towel to prevent warping or cracking. Periodically apply food-safe mineral oil to maintain appearance and prevent moisture absorption.
