Owner and Creative Director of KVK Designs & KVK Naturals - An Artistic Journey in Design
Kristin Klein's artistic talent was evident at a young age when she was accepted to dance for the Boston Ballet Company at just 11 years old. After a career as a ballet dancer, she retired and studied art and communications in college. "I have always been drawn to creativity and have been fascinated by the craft of jewelry design, a skill I taught myself through extensive research and experimentation," Kristin said.
Her journey began in 1991 when she acquired a piece of pyrite from New Mexico. Inspired, she fashioned her first unique necklace creation. In 1995 while managing a small gift boutique, Kristin wore the handmade pyrite necklace. The owner was impressed by the one-of-a-kind design and offered to sell Kristin's pieces in the store when learning she was the creator.
Kristin later launched her own line of jewelry sold to boutiques, friends, and select retailers. In 2000, she opened her first online store, KVK Designs Natural Stone Jewelry & Unique Gifts (www.kvkdesigns.com), to share her passion for artistry, natural materials, and fair trade.
Committed to wellness, Kristin also founded KVK Naturals, specializing in all-natural bath and body products. "What we put on our bodies matters. I aim to offer organic, chemical-free options," she said. The handcrafted soaps utilize vegetable oils and herbs for a luxurious bathing experience that nourishes both skin and soul. All products are free of sulfates, parabens, GMOs, and cruelty free to support health and sustainability.
